Our History

Sierra Pacific Design can trace its beginnings to the passion of a young Jamie Schevers for his childhood pond in Michigan .  Schevers spent hours marveling at the water's beauty and observing the multitude of wildlife that lived there.  Memories of happy times spent playing and caring for his pond inspired an adult Schevers to recreate it in his own California backyard. 

Schevers' artistry and unique vision caught the eye of friends and family who all requested their own water oasis.  What began as a home improvement project ten years ago has become Schevers' life's work and passion. 

For over a decade now, Sierra Pacific Design has built hundreds of beautiful, custom water features in both residential and commercial settings.  Our award-winning work can now be seen in dozens of landscape design magazines and home improvement shows.  Every pond and waterfall is a new joy for Schevers who passionately seeks to mimic nature in every detail.  The joy of the child who marveled at his pond so long ago can still be seen in each and every one of his designs.
